Question

I'm amazed,and frustrated at the same time,cause when the PS3's cell cpu was released,they said it would have 9 SPUs,then they downgraded it to 8 SPUs,then 7 SPUs,and now 6 SPUs only,can this affect some games like Heavenly sword that was designed to use all the 7 SPUs?,lower artificial intelligence,lower graphics quality,affect game play,reduce the cell's clock speed,make the PS3 less powerful?

like agent47 said. it has 8. 6 are used for gaming while 1 is used for all the other features like videos and music. the last 1, ironically isn&#039;t used. so i guess that one is for backup. but i wouldn&#039;t worry about it. it wont have an impact on games like heavenly sword. most people don&#039;t even know what SPU&#039;S are.
