I'll be staying in the centre of Adelaide for three nights and I'm wondering what I can do in that time. I won't have my own transport, but I can book tours and the like.

Thanks!

  1. Go to the Barossa Valley (north of Adelaide) and visit the awesome wineries.

Also visit Victor Harbour (south of Adelaide) ... it's a gorgeous beach-side community and you can whale watch.

I agree, the Clipsal 500 and the Fringe Festival and Womadelaide is certainly Adelaide's best events.

The CBD is easy to get around, go down Rundle Street for fab places to eat and some great shopping.

Take a drive around the Adelaide Hill for some lovely scenerey.

  2. You should definatley change your holiday to march because thats when the international fringe festval is on and the clipsal 500 v8 supercar race. its the best time to go to Adelaide. and the womadelaide festival is on

  3. We went to Kangaroo Island, I loved it, people in Adelaide were very friendly, even taxi drivers (normally I couldn't stand taxi drivers)!

    And I still think so!

It is rather small and calm, you can also take the great ocean road tour, and it is a very popular tour.

The one we took was from Melbourne.
