I am Filipino-American.

For Americans, there's a $130 fee for the visa

For Filipinos, there's a fee waiver but how does the fee waiver work?

I am flying from California, USA.

  1. It depends on which passport you plan on showing at immigration in Brazil. If you plan on showing your Filipino passport then you may not need a visa

  2. No. You will have to choose one of them.. forget the other. If you are flying from California you'll better use the American passport and get the VISA.

  3. You would only need one visa, and I'm pretty sure you can use the Filipino passport with the visa for Filipinos.  I would check with the Brazilian consulate to be certain.  Unless there's a sticker on your Filipino passport that says you also have an American passport, how would they know that you're a dual passport holder.
