Looking for activities/sights/local products that might not be mentioned in the brochures. Have own car and plenty of time. Also, are there any open caves that might suit the more claustrophobic person?

  1. Go to albany and denamrk. pretty much in between margret river and esperance. i live here and there is that much to see and do.

there is the alpaca farm, cheese factory, wineries, beautiful beaches, and so much more. and also great shopping.

if your in the region you have to stop here.

  2. I love Southern Western Australia . If you get good weather which happens often. Esperance I think is beautiful . Cape Le Grand national park is certainly worth while . They have the Whitest sand in Australia. Much to explore down there. it's many years that I was there. I remember the forestry areas and the huge kauri trees. I believe the Mount Hotham railway is worth a trip. Albany is nice there is a good drive around the coast very rugged with blow holes. http://www.travelpod.com/travel-photo/du...

  3. Esperence is the best. The duke of orleans you can't miss also take a camera no matter what.
