I'm visiting OIT later this month. What is there to do in Klamath Falls, OR durring the day?

Lol well I live in Salem now, which is still a pretty small town compared to alot of places. I love Oregon for it's landscape and weather. I'm a country girl. I'm just wondering what kind of canoeing and things like that there are. I'm going with my mother who is older so she can't do hiking and things like that but I want to do something other then just sit and look.

LOL  You poor thing!  Growing up, my parents sent me and my brothers to spend Summers with our grandparents there.  We made sure to bring good walking/hiking shoes and our bikes.  Bring a fishing pole too.  Take some nature walks and enjoy the fresh air and peace.  You just might miss it when you get back in a big city!  Oh yeah, don't forget your camera!

hahaha!! NOTHING!! Klamath Falls is like one of the most boring towns ever!!  I ran track at SOU and had to go to Klamath a few times for track meets...it sucked...There's really nothing at all there...just a big lake and your typical things like Home Depot, Applebee's, whatever...

There is lots of beautiful landscape there (just like ALL of Oregon!!) so hiking, biking, or swimming would be a good thing...There is actually a nice golf course in Klamath too!  Crater Lake is amazing and is only about an hour away...
