I'm visiting the philippines??

i want to visit philippines but i don't know where to go. can you give me a good place to visit..,

i suggest you go to places outside Manila, and i suggest you follow my suggestion.

First and foremost, this may not be the right time to go. Till aorund mid September, we are in the midst of the rainy season. Beaches wouldn't be good this time of the year. Try coming sometime in November or December so you can experience the "longest Christmas season" in the world with our traditional way of celebrating.

A nice place to go is baguio it has beautiful sites there and a cooler climate. Also you may want to go to camiguin island in the philippines to see the sunken cemetery you can even swim and see it up close its amazing.

If you visit the Philippines, I suggest that you go to Cebu. Tourists love visiting Cebu because people in Cebu know how to handle tourist. And then you can go to Bantayan, where they have wonderful beaches!

But one of my fave places too is Baguio! They have a cool climate, and you can have a lot of activities there. If you go to the Philippines, I hope you enjoy your visit!

I would suggest you start in Manila stay there for abit and get settled and grounded. Then work your way to where else you want to go. Manila has alot of things to do,shopping and night life and all that but you must also venture to some of the Islands and other parts of the Pines. Just be sure to research as much as you can before you decide to go and it will do you a world of wonders. You did pick a good place I keep coming back every chance I get.

try sagada,mountain province.

it's a good place for trekking. nice caves,scenes to be seen.  it is a few hours away from the world famous banawe rice terraces.

the people are friendly.

accomodation is quite cheap. there are many foreigners in the area.

Are you visiting alone? I don't suggest going to PI by yourself unless you're used to travelling to foreign countries, then go for it.

Manila, Palawan, Boracay and Tagaytay are popular destinations. Enjoy!!

Try Palawan! This is the best island destination in East and Southeast Asia and 13th in the world.

As a westerner:  stick to Manila as a starting place.  If you are a big time mountain climber, hiker, adverturist, diver, etc, there are better places.  But Manila and then maybe Cebu and finally Bohol are as adventurist as I would recommend.  It also depends if you are going to meet prostitutues, as I don't recommend this, they are mostly in Manila and Angeles city.

Pampanga - Christmas capital

Boracay, Puerto Galera, Palawan, Subic - the nice place to go sun bathing and the breath-taking white sand beaches!

Manila - Capital of the Philipines

Baguio city - summer capital of the Phi(cold weather), where the famous rice terraces lies.

Bohol - The where the brown hills become green and gren becomes brown - the chocolate hills

i went to the phillipines once. Immediately after clearing customs I was escorted to my hotel by the police at least that who they said they were. Actually they drove me around until I paid them money to take me to where I was headed. It wasn't much ($40.00) they ended up driving me around Manila  for the week for about $100 including gas. I had good time in Manila didn't really go outside the city except to Olangapo City to visit an uncle.  I don't know where to go but my advice is to have someone from there, if possible, to meet you at the airport to take you to the hotel or risk being extorted by an unscrupulous taxi driver or off duty policeman

You may visit Palawan or Puerto Galera There are nice beaches there. You may also try to visit Boracay. The sand there is white and its very clean.
