  3. On your browser click on Tools

  4. Go to Control Panel on your Comp. Press Internet Options and a window will pop up. It has an address bar there and just type in yahoo.com.

  5. just go to yahoo.com and there's a message at the top that says make yahoo your home page.  I agree, I hate AOL.  I had the same problem.

  7. you go on yahoo and it's says in the corner do you want yahoo as your homepage and you click on it

  8. making yahoo your home page wont fix your problems if you still get your internet connection from AOL do your self a favor and switch internet service providers

  9. I hate AOL ... to get Yahoo! as your homepage, just go to Yahoo.com and then in the top browser where the header is for Yahoo! ... you'll see a text link that reads, Make Y! your homepage.  Just click that and you are done.  Yahoo! will then be your homepage.  You may or may not have to restart your computer for it to be activated, but if it is you'll see it when you go to login again when Windows starts to setup.  If that doesn't work do it through your control panel.

    1.  Go to Start.

    2.  Then to Control Panel.

    3.  Then to Internet Options.

    4.  Then in the http path in the popup screen, type in http://www.yahoo.com

    5.  Then apply and accept these changes or additions.

    6.  Then open windows and your Yahoo! homepage should come right up.  (You might have to restart after doing this so that the changes can be reset on your hardrive.)
