I'm want to write a packet about horses... what should it...?

i want to write a packet about horses, with just the basics of a horse. not so much riding, but more conformation, basic care of a horse, and equipment used around a horse.

i have thought of a few main topics, but mah question is what topics about a horse do you think are important to learn about?

example: shoulders/angles, cleaning out the hoof, saddles, bits, ect.

general topics that you think someone who is starting out riding should at least hear about if not know about.

I think that little injuries that they get like getting scraped by barb wire. How to take care of minor injuries.

1) Finding A Place To Ride.

2) Buying Your Horse.

3) Travel.

4) Grooming (including bathing)

5) Tacking Up.

6) Simple Schooling Manuvors.

7) Types Of Competition.

I think it would be hard for begginers to learn about conformation, so I would suggest grooming a horse, and grooming supplys, and also basic care for tack/tack cleaning
