I'm writing my 1st time YA book.

What do you think of my chance of getting permission as compare to when others like myself who might want to do the same in getting permission from them or any other established author?

If you are an author and a request has come to you like I'm suggesting here what was your response to it?

  1. All you need to do for it to be legal is to give credit to the person who wrote it and not to make something that they wrote from being good to being bad

just say this was writen by bob in his book bob the bilder

  2. You should contact the author through the publisher.

  3. Simply cite your source.

Now that you aren't worried about that, let the creativity flow!

  4. ask the publisher for a referance number or an email. if they dont awnser u the put the quote in " " and put

    the aurthors last name

date if availibe, page if no date, name of magizene and or if none above availible.

    name of work

    publisher

u need to add this somewere in your work so that all credit is directed twords them for this section of work

i would put an * after it and put the informaion at the end next to anouther *
