I'm wondering if this is hacking your PSP?

I bought a PSP and I saw this video on youtube and the kid got free games off of his computer for his PSP I wanna know the pros and cons of this thanks :) and I aslo want to know if this is hacking it or damaging the PSP

This is hacking.  You need to downgrade your psp's firmware, then you can download and play the games thru your memory card without the need for the umd.  Many have done this already and so far none, if but few, were really damaged.

pro - you never have to buy a UMD game, which could save you hundreds.  You can always delete the games once you get tired of them, and upload them when you want to play them again.

con - your psp's warranty may be voided
