I was supposed to be working for a company for 10 weeks as an intern. The 10 weeks is past and I'm still working with them. What would be the best way to request the company to become a permanent employee and ask them for raise?

  1. You need to either talk with your boss or with HR (or both).  Tell them you are interested in making this a pemanent position.  Depending on their needs & their budget....

Also, don't just ask for a raise.  You need to find out what the total benefits package is - vacation, sick time, insurance, etc.

    Good luck!

  2. Im in the same situation as you. Except im working for a small company who cant afford to pay me. I get commisision, but its not enough to survive.

Im just looking for another job that i can work when im not interning. Somewhere where i can get paid. I plan to work at that other company and if i get better career oppurtunities there then ill ditch the internship. I want to leave now, but i also dont want to get on bad terms with them in case there are oppurtunities in the near future.
