I'm working on a debate case. I need help.?

The case is "Should the private ownership of guns be allowed in the U.S.? I'm arguing the con side and I know my opponents will just say it's under the constitution..." Right to Bear arms.." So I was wondering is there anything I could say in my rebuttal about that?

You have to convince the judges that the Constitution was referring to each state's right to form a militia for its own protection from the British and Indians.
