  3. I don't know if this is authentic but when I was on a cruise last year one Japanese dessert was nigiri sushi with a chocolate and fruit center.

  4. A lot of Japanese restaurants around here have deep fried bananas and cheesecake. I don't know how authentic that is, but people love it.

  5. My fave Japanese restaurant has lemongrass and green tea cheesecakes - the ginger ice cream is awesome, too.  I seem to remember they once had a plum sake cake once but I never tried it.
