Question:

I'm worried about my eyes

I'm worried about my eyes. I have consistently (since I got my contacts two years ago) been overwearing my contacts. I never developed a good habit when I got them, and once I got bogged down with school work in uni things went downhill.. I would sleep with them in my eyes all the time. I wear 02 optix and I have not had any severe problems with it... Have I damaged my eyes? What is a way in which I can stick my schedule in terms of removing contacts? I don't spend alot of time taking care of myself and that's the problem...

  1. O2 Optix contact lenses are approved for overnight wear for up to six continuous nights, so you should be fine. The Wikipedia article that says that doesn't have a source, but I used to use O2 Optix and I remember my optician telling me that they could be worn for five days or so. You might want to check with your optician to make sure that your eyes aren't overly sensitive just in case. Most serious eye problems don't have symptoms until they are significantly developed, so it's always best to be careful.

  2. You are a problem waiting to hapen ! Quit contacts now !

o2 optix lens lasts for two week only ! the math doesnt fit ! two years ! =overwear=corneal ulcer !

  3. Talk to an eye doctor who has a medical degree in this profession!

It sounds serious to check out.
