I'm worried about my hermit crab?

Question

I dropped my hermit crab and he won't come out of his shell. I know he's not dead because he pooped, but I'm still worried. Do you think anything is wrong with him?

Sometimes they get scared and if they are hurting he may just stay in till he feels comfortable.

Spraying him with water is good, you may also want to give him a bath in some very shallow warm water.

Maybe give him something fun and new to eat? That used to make mine excited. They like watermelon rind and cheerios with peanut butter. It may give him some extra energy.

Also, his shall may have cracked on the inside. Have a few new shells for him to choose from. Maybe one more the same size and a few more a bit bigger.

u should try to spray more water or go to a crab doctor!!

wait for it a couple of times and see what happen first

if it still desnt cmn out then u have to call for emergency!!
