Question:

I'm worried about my period?

I started the heaviest period I've ever had around four days ago. Yesterday, I was pretty sure it was over, because (and I'm sorry if this is gross) my tampons weren't filled, and then I took out a tampon and only the very tip had anything on it, and it was all brown, which is usually what it is at the end of a period. Then, I woke up today, and there were no traces of ANYTHING, I didn't feel bloated and gross like I do when I'm on a period, but at around noon I went to the bathroom (and I'm sorry... this is gross again) and everything was drenched in red blood. I freaked out, put in a tampon, drove home, took an immediate shower and cleaned everything up. However, I took out my tampon after the shower to change it, and it had like black stuff all over it... I get that every so often for a period, it's some kind of thing mixed with blood which turns it black, but it was like ALL over, and some more dropped out into the toilet before I cleaned up again and inserted another one.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?! Is it normal for your period to basically be gone and then go in for a huge finish or something? Please help.

your most likely going to be fine

  2. Everything in our body has reasons. Read about very heavy menstrual flow below

  3. It sounds normal. I mean, if your periods aren't usually heavy maybe you'll get a heavy one every once in a while?

Although, this sounds pretty normal to me. (these are kinda what mine are like).

    Hope I helped :D

  4. It sounds normal, but if you are concerned, go see your gyn.
