I'm worried because my daughter's not having s*x?

Question

She is 16 and I give her protection (condoms, pills, etc)

But she says she doesn't have s*x. I am not trying to push s*x on her, I just want her to be safe. All she wants to do is sit around and read. This is seriously her daily routine: She gets up, cleans the house and does her chores,takes a shower, visits the old lady next door to take her dinner, and then reads the rest of the day. She doesn't want to go out, she doesn't want to have friends or date. She says that in the end, everyone will leave you. I don't understand this mentality because her father and i don't fight and we've been married 20 years. Her family has never left her. Her friends were always supportive. So what the h**l does this girl mean?

All she wants to do is visit old people, clean house, and read. What's up? I am getting really worried. What's wrong with her?

I don't think you should be worried. I'm 15 and I love to read. It sounds like you have a very smart and mature girl on your hands. She may be saving herself for marriage because of the romantic symbolism of giving her husband everything. Heart. Mind. and Body.

I choose to stay chaste for a few different reasons. One is religion, the romantic symbolism, wanting to be safe and healty. things like that.

Just leave her. She knows about using protection and she has loads of it from you. Let her have s*x when she wants to. End of sermon.

Your upset because your daughter isn't having s*x(Which, even with protection, You can get pregnant), out with her friends(Who, By the way, Could take her to partys, and pressure her into doing drugs.) and not going on dates..Because why?...There isn't anything wrong with her, She just sounds like a good kid, who isn't intreseted in stuff like that, to me. .
