I'm worried if high school will suck!?

I don't have any friends. My classmates seem to ignore me. No one wants to talk to me. I feel excluded. I'm in 8th grade and I'm worried if a private high school is gonna be the same as my 8th grade year (well, 8th grade just started so today is my 2nd day now). Will it be the same? Or not? What's it like? There's one more year and I'm gonna attend a private high school! Help!

Private schools and public schools don't differ socially, only that you pay more for one and the curriculum is slightly different. Otherwise, high school is literally your chance to have a fresh start. The people you knew in middle school are most likely not going to be the same people you will know in high school. I think your biggest fear will probably be getting lunch at high school but otherwise if you can make friends now, great. If not, try when you get to high school.
