So on the inside of the bottom tooth on my left jaw there is a filling that I've had put in that was an old one then they put a silver filling on top of that and it caused pressure on the inside one so it fell out. Then about a month later it fell out again, in between that time anytime I would put pressure on it and eat on it, it would usually hurt a lot. So I had it redone but the dentist daughter who took over and I think she did a better job. But I have a similar problem on the other side which my original dentist did too. So how do I know if they're gonna fall out. Both times that they've fallen out right before there was no warning but I mean like days a head of time is there any symptom or sign I should look out for? Please help! I can't go back to the dentist until December because my insurance for this year ran out!

  1. Try not to pick at your fillings with your tongue. Also if you keep having bad results with the same dentist try switching to a different dentist. Once a filling is in place it shouldn't fall out that fast. So try a new office and have them check your fillings, he might re-do the one that your original doctor put it. They have to re drill every time if the cap falls off so its not worth the pain or the money. Get a new dentist.
