I'm writing a math test in about 2 weeks. The test is worth 25% of our mark. Which means the rest of the year was worth about 75%. I have a 60% average in the course so far. I was wondering if there was any way to figure out what mark I need on the exam to raise my average 5 or 10%. Anyone know how to figure this out?

  1. There's an equation to figure it out-ask your teacher im sure they have it.  Or maybe a friend.  Are you from US or somewhere else?  sorry it was just weird to see someone say 'writing a test' and 'mark' instead of grade lol.  ill try and figure out the equation for ya

  2. In order to get your grade up to 70% you would need to get 100% on the final test. A 95% would give you about 68%. In order to get 65% you would need a 80% on the final test.

This is the easy way to do it. Your current grade for each quarter is 60%. So you add up the 4 quarters and then divide that number by 4. So you would add 60+60+60+100/4 and that will give you your grade if you got 100%.
