It's supposed to be about a typical everyday thing in America written in an outsider's prospective. The outsider would have never seen anything like it before and they're trying to make sense of it. I'm trying to think of a topic that would sound weird from an outsiders prospective and could be very descriptive. It has to be 500-650 words so it has to be elaborate. Any ideas?

  1. School. or a mall.  Both have a lot of "character."

  2. Why don't you describe saluting the flag? It's something which every American would know well, but would seem odd or alien to someone from a different culture.
