  1. A. B. "Banjo" Patterson writes some beautiful Australian poems, as does William Wordsworth.

  2. This is a simple poem to write an analysis on:

  3. I think if you wrote it on a poem your teacher may like, you will get a better mark!

so try some of the romanticism era of poetry. you can try poets like William Wordsworth (hes great), Keats, Colleridge.

Wordsworth has one in particular that i love - its easy to interpret and understand too: "the Solitary Reaper"

check that site out. and also being a famous poem, you will find a lot of analytical material on the web!

    just search it on google.

    hope it all goes well!

  4. You may be too young for this, but see what it means to you. Your teacher will probably like it. So just give it a try, you might get something out of it too.

  5. Here I wrote one for you (it's about a guy who was afraid to trust his old girlfriend then he meets another girl but doesn't want to mistrust her):

there you were standing in front of me

I'd hear you talk but I wasn't all there

I'd hear you cry but I couldn't understand

All in shock but not completely traumatised

Was it me or my past with these experiences

I'm not afraid of you I'm afraid of what you could do to me

    if I trust

Now I have to let go

let go of that feeling that anguished me

I must try I must give it a try

this time I hope you'll understand
