I'm writing my first book but do not know who to go to after I'm done with my manuscript. I would like to sell instead of trying to publish on my own book. give input pleas.

Get thee to a library! Go check out the books on writing and publishing --- you'll find a lot of excellent information in there.

When you've got your book finished and edited, head to "Writer's Market." It's a big book full of publishers and is pretty much the author's Bible when it comes to submissions.
