  1. Educate yourself about things. This might be more important for you right now than voting.

  2. if you dont follow politics and dont know who any of the candidates are, and dont care, then you have no reason to waste your time voting.

some day you might begin to find interest in politics, then you will want to vote.

  3. If you register to vote and then don't do it for a number of elections, you will be purged from the system. Then when some issue really steams you up and you want to vote against it (or for it), you can't.

In some countries it is mandatory that you vote. We are lucky to have the freedom to not vote but when we don't, our "voice" in government is lost. There have been elections that were decided on a coin toss when the votes were a tie. Your vote could have made the difference.

"Power to the people" is exemplified in the right to vote.

  4. Because your future is jeopardy! Don't you want at least some control?

  5. Because a h**l of a lot of good men and women have given their lives so you could.

  6. You shouldn't vote if you haven't been following the campaign, watched debates, read up on the candidates, etc. If you are unsure whether you should vote you probably shouldn't be voting.

  7. 1) because if you don't then you have no right to complain

    2) It is your civic duty

    3) The future of our country depends on civic participation

There are several important issues that could become a factor in the next few years. Depending on who wins can determine which path our country takes.

  8. Probably you shouldn't, because if you have to ask, you aren't well enough informed to vote intelligently.

    This is your country.

If you are content to let others decide your future, then you deserve whatever you get, and you will have no right to complain.

  9. heh, at this point in time age barely has anything to do with voting. We are all losing social security by 2013 if things don't change. Health insurance will be h**l to get. Gas prices will increase, taxes will increase do to an unjust  war, global warming will create major economic problem. The US dollar will be worth less than it already is( which is less than the canadian dollar at the moment). There is a serious need for change or this country will be in an even larger hole by 2012, make your voice heard. I suggest you begin watching presidential debates, following the news and decide by election time to see which candidate will benefit you the most. Good luck.

  10. if you don't vote you can't complain.

  11. Don't vote!!

It's like driving, if you don't know what you're doing don't do it

When your interested enough, learn, then vote
