I'n London on 3 & 6 Sept, out of town other days. Looking for a good hotel and jazz near So Ho suggestions, ?

Question

In London on Wednesday and Saturday from Texas. At a wedding out of London on other days. In my mid 30's and would like to have a good time music (jazz blues) dancing and drinking. Where's a good hotel near So Ho in the $100 pds or less range? Thanks.

Sorry can't help you with a hotel, but if its Blues you want then if you go behind Liberty's in Oxford Circus theres the Blues bar there...I worked there when I was a student and its great!

Also for jazz, there's a little known jazz club called the Vortex in Stoke Newington.

Well, 100USD is very low for central london.

The one I found is near the British Museum (you see from the hotel).
