Question:

I'v had 4 pekin ducks who have growed up together, Now I have to get rid of 2 of them. Will they all be ok?

I don't know if they get heartbroken or something along those lines. Im keeping a drake & hen and I'm getting rid of 2 hens. Any help would be great. Thanks

  3. Ive had to deal with the same thing only it was peacocks,

    and I watched the two that remained..a male/female pair.

    They seemed to bond nicely together..and remain so

    even to this day.  I have heard that if you leave a single

    bird alone, they seem to suffer from 'pining' for the

    company of another bird.company of the same species,

    thus I have never left a single bird alone..

    Seems to me that leaving two birds, especially a pair..

    they will bond and be just fine.
