I've a good wireless connection but i can't connect to net if i connect my laptop to the router with cable ?

actually i want to do this because i have a speed of 54mbps with my wireless connection and when i connect directly 2 the router; although i can't open the internet, but the computer shows that it is connected with 100mbps.if iget that speed there would be great improvement.

Answering a slightly different question, the 54mb and 100mb per sec usually refer to the link from the computer to the router/modem. Your internet connection speed depends on the the link between the modem and your isp and is usually the bottleneck. A 100mbps link to the net would be nice but sadly we'll have to wait for a year or so. There are internet speed test sites such as http://resources.zdnet.co.uk/speedtest/ if you are in the UK. I got 5mbps which was nice :-)

When connecting with the wireless you have no problems?

Then you should see if your network card is disabled.  If not try updating the drivers from the manufacturers web site.

Direct connect is always a better option for speed and connectivity.  Just buy a basic CAT-5 patch cable.

maybey your internal nic card is disabled, perhaps when you are on batteries, check power options....

Possibly the router from the inside is MAC Locked.

You have to enable your internal nic card from Laptops BIOS first. If its already enabled. then login to your router and then locate there should be something that allows MAC address to be accepted. Or if LAN is not configured, then you must configure it first.

You should check out the router manual, that will help a lot then hearing stuff from strangers.
