I have a school jumper that I just bought it's 30% wool and 70% acrylic. I want to "break it in" and make it not so new and stiff! Any ideas?

  1. I second Chiquita's idea. I have tried it....it works.

  2. If it's machine washable, wash it with a pair of (clean) tennis shoes.  A couple of washes would be even better.  The shoes will help beat up and thus soften the fabric.
