Lately I've been dreaming about zombies taking over everything and the only surviving things are animals, me (in another body), and one of my friends. the zombies are no-one i know, but still seem familiar. Can someone PLEASE explain this and how to stop it?

  1. This could be the result of stress, but recurring dreams are rare, so i'd have to say that something BIG, STRESSFULL, or SAD happened in your life recently. Is that it?

  2. I get that too, zombies are the only things that freak me out and give me nightmares.

Its probably because a zombie situation would be hopeless (its dead people you cannot kill) leave you feeling helpless. A lot of times our minds like to think of ways to deal with problems in life, so we dream ways to solve them. So what happens when there is no scenario that leaves you the victor? Almost every zombie movie ever made ends with everyone dying or the world ending, right? Maybe your mind is trying to find a scenario where you live and survive but it cant think of anything so it just keeps trying?

just avoid zombie movies for awhile (or watch Sean of the Dead, its a zombie comedy that might make you think of zombies in a funny light...).

    Sweet dreams! (hopefully...)

    =)

  3. Haven't I seen several movies like this? I don't like the automatic AssUMptions that it was too much television, but I've had movies invade my dreams. I stopped it by reading something gentle before I go to sleep.
