I'm 16, and since I was like 6 or 7, I've wanted to be a cheerleader.

But I'm home schooled..Which kinda makes it hard to be one.lol

I know that I could be one, I'm tall (5'7) skinny (101 lbs)

SUPER hyper all the time! lol

And when I was younger I was in this "Chearleading group" for younger

kids...(Only thing was, we didn't have a football team.lol)

But I LOVED it..And i kinda miss it.lol

We had to do cartwheels, handstands, and our little "routines"...

My point is to all of this, I REALLY wanna be a cheerleader, but I'm

not in public school...Is there any other way that you can be one

at this age, without a school??

  1. You can join a All-Star team, but an All-Star team is competitive, and you go to competitions. Just like Bring It On: In it, To Win it. Also you have to pay alot of money. Mine is about 3k a year. It's very hard too. You will have to do alot of tumbling, jumps, motions, and stunts. There is some teams who will have a 'No Experience Nessasary' option, so anyone can join.

  2. you can join a competitive squad that does competitions and all of that. i used to do that. its really fun (:

  3. Are you part of a homeschool organization?  If so, I can promise there are other girls who share your dream.  See if you can form your own squad and then cheer on local teams.  Or, join a gymnastics studio. They train girls for cheer and maybe they could help you to live your dream.  Also, taking dance lessons and being with a studio that competes might help.  Competition is a lot of fun. You sound like a very talented girl and you must follow your dreams.

Many churches have sports teams. They might appreciate your cheer squad.
