I've always wondered...? (Cold Water + Minty Gum)...read details?

Today i was chewing a piece of minty gum, and right after i spit it out i drank some ice cold water and the back of my throat was very sensitive to the cold water.... why is this?

  1. the mint gives a "cold" feeling in your mouth  so when  an  actual cold substances is put with it, it gives that feeling

    maybe because when you chew minty gum it makes yu feel really fresh right?

    and cold kind of

    when yu drank the water, since it was cold, it probably made yu more cold. pshh thats a horrible answer. i'll try now. and let you know :)
