I've always wondered whether you pronounce the word "Corps" like "Corpse" or "Core"?

just wondering. it has always bothered me about how i should pronounce it.

    (think of core as being a group of people, an organization.

    if it were pronounced corpse, it would imply someone or something that is not alive! Just a handy way to remember)
