I've become one of 'them' :)?

When I was pregnant i always swore i would be completely honest about my baby, handsome or homely, and that i wouldn't be one of those "my baby is the smartest/biggest/cutest" moms. But I can't help it! Every picture i take is perfect, and every smile, coo, head lift, or leg kick is advanced beyond his age.

Does everyone feel this way?

btw here's my son

  1. His is really cute! And of course we mom's feel the some way. No body will ever love you kids more then you. I feel the some way about my two boys. Even when my 3 yr old is getting in trouble I still see him as my little angel. This kind of love is so precious. Let's enjoy motherhood to the fullest because the grow up too fast.

  2. he is divine! so handsome, not as handsome as my son tho hehe. trust me every mother thinks that way we can't help it....

  3. i think its not normal if you dont feel that way! your little one is such a cutie, however not as much of a cutie as this one!

  4. I understand you even though I'm not a mummy~ You are the baby's mom! Of cause, you would felt like that! Especially, if he is your first child! Otherwise, if you didn't felt anything about it, he's unlucky to be your child! Pamper&praise your child when he is still innocent but mind you, when he is older....do not spare the cane and spoil a child!

  5. Captain Adorable!

    He is super cute.

We have lots in common, my baby is the cutest/smartest/bestest baby in the world too!

  6. Your child is so very cute, no fear, you are not one of those moms.

  7. Oh man, he's adorable!  Love those cheeks!

And yes, my children are the cutest kids on the planet.  Could be baby models and work in catalogs, but I dont want to subject them to that life!  :)

I think we all know that our kids are the most beautiful children in the world.  It's one of the many gifts that God gives us when we have our kids, Mommy Goggles.  The ability to recognize the beauty in others children, but the knowlege that that ours are truly special.  (Because they are).

    Congrats on your beautiful baby!

  8. This question is cute, so is your baby!

Don't worry about it, you have every right to be proud of your son! All mums are like it.

  9. he is blssed :) happy loving.

  10. I actually do not think that my kid is perfect.  I do think that she is the cutest baby I have ever seen.  I also think that she is full of attitude that I know is going to drive me crazy a couple of years from now.  There are pics of her that I take that I don't think are that great...I take plenty.  She has days that she is nasty little thing.  She has started throwing little temper tantrums at seven months which is crazy b/c me and my husband do everything that should prevent them.  I think it's just going to be her crazy personality.  She has no patience whatsoever.  Wants to be walking already and she just can't and expresses her pissy attitude about it throughout the day.  But, no matter what she does I do love her more then anything....I just have to get away from her from time to time.  But, that's just me.

  11. Well sweetie its not just you! All mommies are like that!

its just human nature I guess!

But yours in under control! LoL

My brother just had a baby, and his MIL was at the birth and so was I, and oh my GOD

the baby sneezed and she went wild, with " shes so smart she could sneeze all by herself!" W T F

who ever needed help with a sneeze! and her other grandson is 1 and could walk and my GOD is he the little genius!

I'm like gezze lady all my kids walked at 1!

So I think yours is in the normal range!

  18. Your son is a adorable! And yes, I'm sure every mom feels this way. I know I do about my little girl. I couldn't have asked for more. You just have this bond and instant love at first sight. These tiny babies have a power over us that we only know. So forget trying to not be "one of those" because it's just something that comes along with being a parent. Well, keep enjoying your little one :)
