I've been asked to provide this:

THE OVERSEA TRAVELERS INSURANCE POLICY (OTIP) COVER, is a mandatory requirement by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) this is because the policy is a prove that you are medically fit; to work in Nigeria and also it is a per-requisite to renew your resident/worker's permit every year.

The OTIP should have benefits to the tune of $5,000,000.00(FIVE MILLION US DOLLARS) and the duration is one year, it should include benefits for loss of luggage, repatriations, medical, permanent disability and death etc

for a job in Nigeria, is it a scamm?

  1. Nigeria is the world's capital for financial scams.

Yes it is a scam. Never transact any money with Nigerian companies.

If you plan on working there, check out whatever you think you need in your own country from major reliable institutions.

  3. Amkhosro,

Step away from the keyboard now. Turn and run as fast as you can before you lose your money. If this was real the employer would be paying this expense. Run.
