I've been breastfeeding for about 6 months now and my period haven't arrived yet should I be worried?

I would not be worried. As long as you are breast feeding you do not produce estrogen, you produce prolactin therefore you will not have a period. You are able to become pregnant again so I would keep that in mind.

Nope!  Prolactin, which is needed to produce breastmilk, suppresses estrogen, so you can't menstruate while you're breastfeeding, as long as you don't suppliment with formula OR pacifier.
