  1. This is what I did with my daughter when I was co sleeping

    with her.

Get a teddybear or a special blankie and start sleeping with it between you. when the she wants to snuggle make sure you make the object and important part of that snuggling at all times of the day or night. Then begin to wean her from co sleeping with her new buddy. It will help soothe her.

  2. I have been doing the same thing too. My daughter is a 1 years now and sleeps by herself till 3 am. I give in when I'm too tired to keep trying or I'm staying up till 6 am doing online classes( sleeps with daddy then). I'm thinking that its good to keep trying to get your baby to sleep by themselves and eventually they will do it. I am strongly against letting babies cry till they pass out, I think that a part of being a mother is giving you baby all the comfort they need and if they need it at night, then why not.

I know that it's not great on those nights where you just want to stretch out, but remember it's not going to last forever.

  3. My daughter is 15 months and she still sleeps with my husband and I. She has a bed and when she takes naps, I put her in it. Start off that way. And start off by putting the bed in your bedroom. She will feel like a big girl. From then, take your time. Some nights, put her in her bed to fall asleep (days when she is too tired to move). Eventually, she will get the hang of it (some months). But I still let her sleep with us from time to time (guilty!). I love it! She is only a little girl for so long and it's the first smile I see in the morning. Priceless! Good luck!
