I've been doing some research...?

and I plan to stand on top of a hill in Manchester with a list of all the gods and their rules and yell into the sky that they're not real. I've invited all the local churches (in the same way they invite me to them, endless leaflet campaigns, knocking on doors {you know it's amazing how many religious people get angry when you knock on their door soliciting non belief}) and I'm negotiating the use of a PA system atm.

I've invited all my friends and sent letters to BBC & ITV in the hopes that they'll come cover it.

Anybody want to come?

  1. sorry, sounds boring. Unless you also arrange on some near misses of lightening strikes for some drama.

Why don't you volunteer in a soup kitchen or animal rescue instead?

  2. no....

    ONLY ONE GOD...the Trinity!!

  3. Thats a ridiculous idea.

I wouldnt want to waste my time. Its your belief if you dont believe, and trying to invite all the people that do and trying to tell them that their belief is wrong is just as bad as them telling you that your wrong.

    Grow up.

  4. Yawn,... no thanks!

  5. Thank you for doing what many of us would like to do. Hopefully it will catch on.

  6. That would be an incredibly long plane ride to listen to a really, really, really long list.

So I'm going to pass. But thanks for the invite. You do realize that considering how long it's going to take you to do that, and that you're going to be on a hill, your chances of getting stuck by lightening or some other such natural occurrence are pretty high and it might appear to onlookers that whichever god you're denouncing when that happens is the one, true god. You might inadvertently start something. Just food for thought.
