I've been dreaming of him since last Tuesday, what does that mean?

Me and my neighbor are really good friends. I'm a 17 year old girl, We hang out a lot and suddenly he's told me he's going to move out and I'm really gonna miss him. He said he'll be back all the time but the thing is I've already "done it"safely over 15 times with my neighbor, he's had a crush on me since I moved in 2 years ago and this year is when I started to do that with him because I fell for him. He's 17 like me, how can I stop dreaming about him and move on?

you have to deal with it and move on. in life you will feel this way about a number of different people. you will say good buy to all of them but 1.

this is how life works. be sad for a while, then stop being sad and move on. no easy answer.

You are dreaming of him because u have unresolved issues with him.  Your dreams may give u an answer as to how to solve how u feel.  If u can talk to him about how u feel.  If u cant sit quietly and do a meditation, example like I forgive myself, I forgive u, I can let u go and I release the past.  If we are meant to be u will come back to me.  Repeat that over and over until u get a sense of release.  Or pray.  Either way is beneficial.

Getting over someone isn't easy and there is no quick fix way to get over someone.  It takes time, lot and lots of time.  

I've found through personal experience, even if this sounds mean, that the best way to get over it is to move on.  Find somebody else.  

Sure, you'll never find someone exactly like your neighbor again, but you can find someone that makes you just as happy, if not happier.

Don't cling to the memories of what use to be.  Looking back will only make you sad and make it harder to let go.  

Also, try hard to except the fact that he's moving and you can't be together.  It common to attach yourself to fantisies or dreams about everything somehow working out.  But the sad truth is that it's over.  So make sure you understand that.

You can't control what you dream, I still dream about my exs from time to time, but the dreams will become few in far between after a while.  Just give it time.
