I don't know what kind of set i should buy. I live in a neighborhood in the country so if I do anything with an acoustic set my neighbors will hear it. I don't know how much they will care to hear that. I'm not a complete newbie so me sucking really loud isn't an issue lol. I've been checking out some electronic sets but anything I've had my eye on has been too expensive. I'm looking for something below $900 dollars. I'm into metal so that means double bass would be a big plus. I don't really know how big of a set i should get.

as far as how good i am skill wise its kinda hard to say. my friends think im amazing but they think a drum roll is impossible so i dont really know how to put it... i think the most difficult song i can do would be raining blood by slayer or with some practice run to the hills by iron maiden.

  1. Buy a set with a good garrantee, and get a set that pleases you! Good Luck!

  2. In my opinion any electronic set in that price range will sound like c**p. Good sounding electronic drums cost a bunch unfortunately. As a new drummer I really wouldn't recommend electronics.
