I started having some upper stomach pain yesterday morning. I felt a little nauseated but then it went away. I also have IBS-D. I have had my gall bladder removed so i know its not that. I think it may be an ulcer but i dont know. I obviously couldn't see my doctor today since it's Labor Day. I don't know what it could be but the pain has been there all day , it'll just get a little worse at times..like a sharp pain or especially when i take deep breaths..its like my whole stomach hurts when i do that. Can someone please help me out

??? :( I know i gotta see a doctor but I gotta wait till tomorrow. By the way, im 22, female....and yeah what I've already mentioned.

  1. I don't believe in IBS IBD , i supposedly had this over 10 years ago i was told to stick to a diet to help with spasm's, and eat a healthier diet with fiber, I was given a check list of foods to avoid.

I did this for years and years with no complaints, until i started have digestive problems and stomach problems the same as you.

I though i might have an ulcer or that my liver wasn't functioning properly, or my pancreas.

But 1 month ago i met a specialist who saved my life, I had an unusual parasitic bacteria in me which had been there for years , (this was the problem for my so called IBS IBD) eventually this bacteria has led to my colon causing Diverticulitis.

A condition which is really not nice  it restricts your life diet, constant visits to the hospital doctors, etc etc,

Some people end up with colostomy bags.

All i say is get rid of the bacteria in your body, It causes so many complications from your mouth to your bum.

Get a second opinion for the IBS IBD  there is a cause to inflammation it doesnt happen on its own?

  2. Could be ulcer  for which you might need an antibiotic.

    ...or ulcerative colitis,

    ...or acid reflux.

    Google:  mayo clinic>>diseases>>colitis

    >>GERD

Having IBS, I usually find that pain in my lower abdomen so I don't think it's that.

    Good luck

  3. I think you must've pulled a muscle.  It happens sometimes.  I have those loads.  When you breath in, you get a sharp pain and stuff, right?  Does it hurt when you move?

Pull a sweater on and take some pain pills. It helps. :)
