I've been faced with the decision to move to a different high school my sophomore year. Should I?

I am an actor and the school that i attend now has a pretty bad theatre program, and the school that i want to go to has one of the best in the state. People keep telling me that if i want to act as a career(which i do) than i need to go there. But what about all my friends. I mean the school is on the other side of town. Help Please? Pros - cons

  1. pros- you will get the education and skills you need to be a pro actor

cons- it is farther than you wanted and you will miss your friends

I mean it really is  HOW BAD DO YOU WANT TO BE A PRO ACTOR?

I am a sophomore too but your friends are not gonna b there for the rest of your life and what is more important to you ?

    your friends or your career..

um there is a time for work and play...

I think you should go with your heart and you never know YOU MIGHT MAKE NEW FRIENDS AT YOUR NEW SCHOOL!

    smiles...

    hope this helps

  2. You can still keep your old friends. You'll just have to make more of an effort to see them and hang out with them. Go out there and try the new school. You can mix new and old friends.

  3. Go to where your heart leads you./ You will make new friends and if your present friends are real friends you will continue to see them.

  4. if you really want to you definetely should :)

pros: good theatre, make some new friends, make a fresh start

cons: maybe the people there wont be AS nice as your original friends....but that is basically it

you can still keep in touch with your old friends by phone and email :)))
