I've been going to a private school for my entire life??

Question

I have been in a small 200 person private school for my whole life..... it gets old.. I am transferring this year to a public high school for my freshman year... i do have some friends there but they are mostly older and my "boyfriend" (see other questions) goes ther and all.. but i can't help but be nervous... any tips??

well i went to public shcool until i was in 7th grade then i went to private school until 10th and i regret ever going back to public school. I would have been better on in private school. but it also has to do with your location. In my private school i had more attention from the teachers. In public school there is just way to many students and you have to be more focused and interested in school to make it. goodluck if you really care about your future you should be fine.

im in 8th grade at a small private school to but i have been to public school when i was younger and i know it can be nerve racking but if you go in there dont let people push you around,ignore the jerks,study hard and dont be shy you'll do great!!!!

oh woww. you are in for a major shock!

luckily i started a public schools in 6th grade. So it wasnt bad. So by 8th grade i was used to it and there was smoking, alcohol, and s*x already!

but anywayy you want tips:

just be yourself. and dont fall for peer pressure. Dont do things you normally wouldnt and dont be too rash.

Personally i think you should stay at the private school. ok maybe i'm a little bias........me being your biffel and all but since you are definately going.... All you gotta do is be you! lol They'll love you! If not you can just call me lol i'll straighten them out! even if you end up only having a few friends there.... don't forget you've got a lot at the private school! So try not to worry so much.... ok?? Cause you're gonna have friends where ever you go and of course you can handle the academic part! lol
