Its either white or clear, sometimes very moist, kinda jello like, or its kind of piecy, chunk-like sorta and not super moist. neither smell too bad, but its weird and distracting when I feel it during the day. is this normal? What can i do about it?

  1. I have had that for like over a year now and it won't go way. It's normal but I don't know why it's there...

  2. It could be a yeast infection.  If it's itchy I'd say to go to the doctor, but if it doesn't bother you then I recommend the following to see if it subsides:

    Wear 100% cotton underwear

Do not wear tight clothing, especially jeans

Stay away from sweets (cookies, cakes, candy, etc.)

    Eat plenty of yogurt

    Drink plenty of water

If by doing this it doesn't subside (give it a week), then make an appointment to see the doctor just to have it checked out.

  3. Wear a pantie liner.

  4. probably a yeast infection, see your doctor, or gynecologist

  5. It may be a yeast infection, go see a Gynecologist.

By the way Amanda down below...facts don't typically come out of Seventeen magazine.  A yeast infection can be different for everyone, and there is a possibility it is one.  My source: Grown woman with 2 children

  6. Yeah it's absolutely normal. All women get it. It's probably a sign that your period is starting up soon. Wear a panty liner, or go to the bathroom when ever you can and wipe it off your panties. It's fine, and it's normal.

Btw, you did a good job describing it... haha I can never find the right words!

    And I'm 99% sure it's not a yeast infection.

  7. Sounds like what Im having.. And Im pretty sure its a yeast infection.. This also happens before and after your cycle.. Good yeast infection..

  8. OK i know what that is!

I figured it out from seventeen magazine.

If kind of like gummy like you said its like then it could be from before your period or after.

If it is kind of milkey and wet that is just normal feminine discharge.

Wear Always Pantiliners or Carefree Pantiliners or something.

Don't worry I have the same thing.

  9. Glands inside your v****a and cervix make small amounts of fluid. This fluid flows out of the v****a each day, carrying out old cells that have lined the v****a. This is your body's way of keeping your v****a healthy and clean. The discharge is usually clear or milky and doesn't smell bad.

The color and thickness of the discharge change with your monthly cycle. The discharge is thicker when you ovulate (when one of your ovaries releases an egg), when a woman is breastfeeding or when a woman is sexually excited.

Changes that may signal a problem include an increase in the amount of discharge, a change in the color or smell of the discharge, and irritation, itchiness or burning in or around your v****a. This is called vaginitis. A discharge that's stained with blood when you're not having your period could also be a sign of a problem.  Some other types of infections such as yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can also cause discharge that is usually accompanied by odor such as beer/yeast/fish.

I would recommend that if you have any of these signs or any concerns regarding this you consult with your doctor for a proper diagnosis and for proper treatment should you have anything other than just a normal vaginal discharge.

    Good luck :)

  10. Ok, two things... 1) I feel like questions like this are better asked on Cosmo.com where this type of thing is more expected lol... and 2) Yeah it's normal.  Female's bodies go through stages, every month.  Most females don't actually ovulate during their period, most of us actually start ovulating in the middle of the twenty eight day period, two weeks before your period begins.  When you ovulate your body produces more discharge to make it easier for your egg to become fertilized.   And if you noticed the jello like stuff is super slippery.  Soooo, basically what all of this means is that for a week/week and a half of the month it's completely normal for you to have extra discharge.
