  1. i have the same problem with you!!

it hurts so much, so sometimes i cannot sleep, walk eat well !!!!

but i heard that migraines are genetical problems,

so my mother has it. Don't worry about so much!

brain affects by how you think! think positive!

    my doctor said to me.

  2. Migraines are strange creatures. They're extremely incapacitating depending on the severity (vomiting, blacking out, dementia), so if you're actually having migraines, there's a chance you might have been taken to the hospital anyway. A doctor should be able to help you figure out exactly what is going on.

You should definitely see a doctor, but staying hydrated usually helps with my headaches. A lot of sources feel that a person that is at their ideal weight doing light to moderate activities should drink 64 ounces of water in a day. Basically, eight 8oz. glasses. Overweight people and people that are more active need more water.

It sounds like a lot, but if you make it a habit it gets easier. This is the first thing you should try before seeing a doctor, because the doctor will ask you about it. If you're staying hydrated and you're still getting headaches, then you and your doctor won't have to waste time ruling out the dehydration possibility and he/she can get down to helping you sooner.

BTW, just a little tip if you like to party, alcohol dehydrates your body. This is a major part of hangovers: you get dehydrated, feel like c**p and you have a headache the next day. On the rare occasion that I actually get a chance to hang out with my friends and drink, I'll CHUG two or three full glasses of water just before going to sleep and I wake up feeling pretty great (relatively). Otherwise, I'm pretty much out of commission for the rest of the weekend. ;P

  3. Are you sure they are headaches?? If so yes go to your dr. Start tomorrow with a daily migraine log, enter when/what time you get them and how long they last and the pain severity you are feeling when you have them. Your doctor will ask you to do this, so you'll be ahead of the gun by taking your notes in with you.

I too have suffered with migraines, Excedrin works for me too but after many years its just not as effective. I had taken a rx for yrs, now I know why they happen and I try to avoid them as I have narrowed the reasons why this happens to me.I had also went for a cat scan to make sure a tumor wasn't developing and got blood taken too, it also be a sign that you need glasses too.  There is also foods in your diet that are trigging them.

Either way there is a reason this is happening. Its your health and you need to seek proper attention as it may be an underlining issue of other things too.

  4. It's always best to see a doctor to rule out anything serious. If you do have constant migraines, they can give you a prescription to help prevent them or ease them.

I know what you are going through as I get them occasionally. For home remedies, try laying down in a cool dark room with a cool compress on your head. Take something for it such as motrin or your choice of pain reliever, and try to take a nap.
