I've been having these dreams... and it's the same one that's recurring. What's going on?

EXTREMELY vivid no matter how long I'm awake for afterwards. The thing that gets me the most... I think it's supposed to be a movie! It looks just like what a preview would be. There's this really old house. There's this big door on the floor by the kitchen that opens up to a storage closet type thing. The door doesn't line up perfectly with the floor, and there's at least 2 to 3 inches of space between the end of the door, and the floor. So this guy looks down, and sees this light in the opening in the floor. It's a candlelight. So he opens the door on the floor, and goes to blow out the candle. It doesn't flicker at all. He pours water on it, and it goes out. He then goes to grab the candle (which is rather deep in, at least 3 feet). The wick has become noticeably longer, and with that, he grabs the candle... and he is thrown into the storage bin with screams! At the end, a title flashes saying "Dead Fire." This dream has happened 3 times. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!

I heard a lot of times that dreams can tell you your unconscious thoughts. So maybe theres something that your mind is trying to tell you. The candle might actually be a clue.

All recurring thoughts have a subconscious impact, whether they are dreams or a song stuck in your head. Whatever it is that is stuck in your head means something to you, so the most healthy solution is too scan the problems in your life and see if they abstractly fit your dream.

The candle symbolizes maybe a struggle for understanding, and the ending where he is sucked into the closet symbolizes the risk you feel in obtaining that knowledge. "Dead Fire" makes absolutely no sense to me.

sorry but i dont know. but i dont think it means something because i have dreams like that almost all the time. its like a movie in my head also
