  1. yes, as the other poster recommended, you must another doctor - a pulmonologist or a chest specialist.

    one can have trouble breathing even in sarcoidosis [it is different from asthma] - an autoimmune disorder. the pain inthe chest could also be because your lungs are having to work extra hard to get the oxygen your body needs.

    these are just conjectures based on my personal experience - nothing to get worked up about.

    however, before you see a doctor, make sure to collect as much details of your symptoms as possible so as to aid diagnosis. eg.

    do you feel shortness of breath throughtout or only after some exertion/physical stress;

    does lying down help - in which position?;

    does steam inhalation help?

    does hot / cold food make any difference;

    is the pain in the chest very localized or just a general constrictiveness?

    and so on.

    hope this helps - get well soon & all the best

  2. it could be too do with E numbers in your food, some e numbers..i can't remember which off hand...can cause difficulty breathing...<^><...

  3. could be a P.E

  4. Go back to your doctors and ask for a second opinion any pain when breathing is not good so make an appointment asap good luck x*x

  5. If your GP can't help, go to Casualty (Sorry PC Accident and Emergency)

  6. A pain while breathing is not normal. See another Doctor.  You can not be diagnosed over the internet. never go by one doctors opinion if it does not seem right. I had a heart transplant 5 years ago, if I had gone by my first doctors opinion that there was no hope, I would definitely be dead. You know your body best. See another doctor and give them as much info about you and your problem as you can. Doctors can't read minds, but they can be mistaken.
