  1. No, you probably have some very important things going on in your life where you are giving them your full attention and think about an awful lot. Because these things are so much on your mind right now, your subconcious is working on these problems as much as you are. Your dreams are reflecting how much focus you are putting on your own problems as an active participant, rather than an observer.

I wish I knew how to shut the dreams off myself. Sometimes my dreams are just as busy as my waking life! One thing I have been doing is practicing relaxation techniques along the lines of self-hypnosis. I am lame at self-hypnosis (I am still 50 lbs overweight!) But I can now relax more muscles I never realized were so tense before. So work on relaxing your muscles at bedtime, including facial muscles, leg muscles, etc. Start at the top of your head and try to relax each muscle down your body. AT first it takes forever, but over time you will be able to relax quicker. With better relaxation at bedtime, you will sleep a little better.

  2. Why may I ask is something wrong with you? No, of course not, you are perfectly normal.

  3. Depends on the content. Please be more specific.

  4. Are you on any medications or the nicotine patch? The patch caused VERY vivid dreams w/me. Nothing wrong w/having vivid dreams; you're just not relaxing enough for your brain to completely shut down & get the rest it needs.

  5. Try to find something that changed.

    Has your diet changed?

Is your room darker or quieter than before?

Have you been more tired lately and therefore been sleeping deeper?

Have you started sleeping with a fan on?
