I've been in ballet 7 years and am 12 yrs old what do i need to do to put myself out there in auditions?

Most professional companies won't hire a 12 year old.  While you're young, try to audition and attend as many good summer intensive programs as you can.  Most major companies have these (Houston, Joffrey, ABT, Boston, The Rock, etc.).  You could also audition for year-round programs at prestigious schools (San Francisco Ballet School, Boston Ballet School, Pennsylvania, etc.)  Good luck!

hi!

i only just turned 14 and ive been doing ballet for 11 and a half years.

i have danced with the Hong Kong ballet company and at balls.and i was accepted in to the prestigious Gifted young dancer Program at the hong kong academy of performing arts.

you have to:

1: be good obviously!

2: look in your local newspaper for auditions,

3: ask your teacher for help, maybe she knows some auditions.

4: get yourself known!
