  1. Why not keep it simple and bake her a cake?

  2. it doesnt matter how much money you spend on a gift, its the thought that counts; A very thoughtful and a rememberful gift would be a babys my first peggy bank. price ranges from 5-10 bucks.

  3. A couple ideas...you could make a coupon book that says things like half day of baby sitting, or three hours of diaper duty etc. Think of things that she might need and put them in the coupon book. New moms always need more help. If you are any good at crafts you can make one of those scrapbook layouts that goes in a frame for the babies first picture. Or you could get the mother a little something for her instead of the baby like nice slippers or lotion set, manicure/pedicure gift certificate. After the babies born it's important that the mother feels beautiful still.

  4. what about cross stiching something for baby's room - personal, thoughtful, doesnt cost much - frame it only needs to be small

  5. but an embroidery kit, make it and tell her when the baby is born, you will stitch the name and date of birth at the bottom. you could have it made into a pillow, put it in a frame, sew it onto a blanket.

  6. give her a coupon book for a free night babysitting, home made dinner, things like that.. and for a cheap present get some socks and bootys for the baby.. they are reasonable and very cute and well needed

  7. Nothing beats a certificate (you can make a cute one on the computer) for FREE babysitting. Either do a set for certificates to "cash" in (you can decide how many times they can have a freeby) OR just make one certificate for a set number of hours or times OR make one for just one special time (their anniversary or birthday or maybe just for their first time out after baby is born. (I like the first time out after baby is born myself)

  8. Are all of the refreshments taken care of? Bc a lot of times, just your time means so much to people...you could bake cupcakes, organize games, activities....Im sure if you helped make her baby shower one to remember she'd appriciate it very much. As for gifts, maybe a gift certificate for a pedicure! Pregnant women looove that! After all, most of them cant even tie shoes, much less pamper their swollen feet! Or you could make a gift basket, go to your local dollar tree, or walmart and pick up some small dollar items, like massagers, lotions, or one for the baby with baby shampoo's and diapers.....surf the web to get ideas, you could roll up a bunch of baby washcloths to resemble a "3-tiered cake", or get a dozen baby socks and tie them up into balls, and put them in an empty egg carton box....cute little things that will cost only a few dollars....you just have to be a little creative and decorate. When all else fails, try a gift certificate, that ALWAYS works!Good luck though!!

  9. If she has a registry-buy her the things you can afford off of the registry, also I am sure your mom will buy her something and include your name on it.

  10. buy something for the mom,,,,,, everyone always buys for baby,,,, but moms are special too so get her something nice

  11. Make her one of those cakes out of cloth diapers. Put it in a cake box from a bakery. Looks like a real cake. You can google how to make one. You can never have too many cloth diapers.
