I've been looking at the Ride Fever and i was wondering how it holds up. Also, any other board suggestions?

   Ride boards are really great boards - they perform well and really hold up to abuse. Other suggestions for freestyle boards would be Gnu, Lib Tech, Forum

   A 144 is on the small side, but if you stick to rails and boxes it should be fine.  At the level you sound you are at, and the type of riding you say you like to do, the Ride Fever should hold up just fine.  
   
   If you want to start hitting the bigger jumps in the park, then you should get at least a 148.  A 144 could get a little sketchy landing bigger jumps.  
   
   Good luck.  I love seeing more girls holding their own in the park.  
   
   On another note, you should learn how to skate and do that during the summer if you want to improve your freestyle skills in the off season.  Skating really helps with confidence too, because if you can deal with the consequences that come with skating, you can deal with the consequences that come from hitting rails and stuff on a snowboard.
